Senior Structural Engineer

PE with 20+ years of experience in structural engineering with specific emphasis in dams, hydraulic structures, penstocks/pipelines, and fish passage but associated concrete and steel experience (e.g. bridges) would be okay.

Potential Office Assignment – Utica, Albany, Henniker

The ideal candidate will be a Professional Engineer with a strong background in the geotechnical aspects of dam safety evaluations and design. Approval as a FERC Part 12 Independent Consultant or the requisite experience to qualify for approval is required. Experience conducting risk-based analyses for dam safety inspections is desirable.

Our company has an opening for a Senior Fish Passage Engineer with experience in structural analysis and design of hydraulic structures, fish passage structures, and/or other water resource infrastructure including fishery related projects.

Senior Geotechnical Engineer

PE with 7‐15+ years of experience with geotechnical exploration as well as design around dams and water retaining structures. Willingness to accept short field
deployments (e.g. 1‐2 weeks/yr).

Senior Water Resources Engineer

PE with 15+ years of experience with hydrology and hydraulic modeling. This individual should have the skill set to be an advanced user in one or more of the following software packages – HEC‐RAS, HEC‐HMS, HEC‐ResSim, and Flow3D.

Natural Resources Technician

Our company has an opening for a Seasonal Field Technician with experience in vegetation assessment and wetland delineation in our Henniker, NH office.

 

This is a Full Time, Seasonal position. The work will begin mid-May and last through the fall of 2023 with flexible start/end dates.

Looking for a detail-oriented candidate with excellent communication skills. The primary tasks of this role include monthly invoicing, budget tracking assistance, file and organize client and subconsultant agreements, and technical writing related to business development efforts.

Looking for a mature individual who can assist with day‐to‐day functions of a 20‐person office (managing office set‐up and maintenance, ordering supplies, making travel arrangements, local computer support etc.) as well as assist with special projects related to business development, records management, human resources, and IT.

Civil/Water Resources Restoration Engineer

This position will be responsible for engineering design for restoration (e.g., dam removal, culvert replacement, streambank stabilization, habitat improvement, flood mitigation), hydropower licensing (e.g., recreation, fish passage, dredging), and other projects. This position offers opportunities for growth into project management and business development responsibilities commensurate with experience.

Entry level up to 3 years of experience. Experience using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online capabilities, and designing basic geodatabase  schema and performing advanced geodatabase edits and management, among other basic GIS skills.

Senior Water Resources Engineer

Our company has an immediate opening for a Senior Water Resources Engineer with extensive experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for watershed, river, reservoir, and dam studies. Hydrology and hydraulics are key elements of our nation’s renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will lead projects and conduct complex analyses such as real-time flood forecasting, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling for hydraulic structures, large river basin runoff modeling, dam break analysis, and two-dimensional riverine hydraulic modeling. The selected candidate will also perform advanced modeling, including customizing models through scripts. We are seeking a committed, detail-oriented individual to utilize their knowledge and experience, as well as current software technologies, for our clients’ immediate and future projects.

Civil3D, GIS, and/or construction experience a plus.
