Who we are

We are a growing engineering and environmental science company working at the intersection of renewable energy, dam safety, and environmental restoration. We plan to continue our sustainable growth for current and future generations of our employees. We are a multi-disciplined team of civil, water resources, and structural engineers as well as scientists, technicians, and support staff that promotes close coordination and team building. Our company is employee-focused and encourages an atmosphere of continued learning, exposure to a wide variety of project responsibilities, and frequent interaction with the firm’s principals and leaders. We firmly believe in treating our team members as well as we treat our clients, and we maintain a personable, positive work environment.

Gomez and Sullivan understands the importance of our role in helping to teach and shape the next generation of engineers and environmental professionals. Our commitment to fostering these relationships has led us to develop an internship program which gives college students and recent graduates the opportunity to apply knowledge they have learned in the classroom and gain firsthand experience in the consulting world.

I learned so much about water resources engineering and gained valuable hands-on experience in day-to-day environmental science and engineering activities, such as field work, report writing, real world data processing, the use of programs such as ArcGIS, and agency consultation. I also learned a great deal about the administrative side of running an engineering company, such as filling out time sheets and billable hours, proposal writing, and marketing. I came to appreciate the small size of the company and got to know my coworkers really well, all of which contributing to me accepting my full-time role with the company.
