Learn more about them and our services below.
Brett is a civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in fish passage, river hydraulics, and dam safety. Most recently he led a team of engineers and ecologists focused on hydropower, fish passage, telemetry, river hydraulics, and biomechanics at the USGS’s Conte Anadromous Fish Research Lab. Prior to that, Brett worked as a fish passage engineer at USFWS, where he provided technical support on dozens of hydropower projects in North America, was lead author of the first edition of the USFWS Fish Passage Engineering Design Criteria manual, and co-founded the International Fish Passage Conference. At Gomez and Sullivan, he will be leading and contributing to a variety of fish passage and dam safety projects. In his spare time, Brett enjoys rooting for the Red Sox, hiking with his dog Gus, boating on the Connecticut River, and spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and children, Katie and Will.
Bryan is a civil engineer who has specialized in fish passage for the last 15 years as a fish passage engineer for the USFWS where he co-authored the 2019 Fish Passage Design Guide, as well as the update that is currently in production. In addition to upstream and downstream fish passage, Bryan will be working on aquatic organism passage at road-stream crossings, stream restoration and dam removal projects with our Team. In his spare time, Bryan is an avid fisherman enjoying any activity that gets him outdoors, especially getting his wife, Shannon, and three children, Isla, Finn, and Yara, out on the water.
