JOB DESCRIPTION

Our company has an opening for a Temporary Natural Resources Technician/GIS Analyst in our Henniker, NH office. The ideal candidate has 0-3 years of experience in either recreation studies and/or GIS with an interest in both fields. Our company is seeking a committed, detail-oriented individual who has interest in a broad range of environmental and water resource services and enjoys participating in multiple facets of a project from start to finish. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team are a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting staff scientists and engineers to design and conduct recreation studies
  • Assistance with recreational use assessments, facilities inventories and condition assessments, and focus group meetings
  • Data processing and report writing
  • GIS data management and map development

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, environmental science or natural resources management, or other relevant area of study.
  • 0 to 3 years of experience, full-time or seasonal

Gomez and Sullivan has been providing specialized engineering, environmental science, and data management solutions to the water resource and energy sectors since 1993.
