Cynthia comes to Gomez and Sullivan with an extensive background in Not for Profit Finance. She is a graduate from Utica College of Syracuse University with a BS in Accounting. She was employed at Catholic Charities of Herkimer County for 19 years, starting there as Accounting Assistant and later promoted to Fiscal Director. In 2008 she was named Associate Executive Director. In that position her role at Catholic Charities evolved from fiscal responsibilities to overseeing human resources, quality assurance control, marketing, and supervision of several of the agency’s key programs. She is also a Board Member and Finance Chair for The Good News Foundation located in Utica and volunteers on the Finance Committee for her church in Ilion.

Cynthia is a native of the Utica, NY area and currently resides in the Village of Ilion, NY with her husband. She enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with family, especially her one-year old grandson Sebastian.
