Betsy O’Malley

Environmental Scientist

Betsy joins Gomez and Sullivan after earning her PhD in Wildlife Ecology, Emphasis: Fisheries from the University of Maine, where her research focused on the effects of rapid population growth and the potential for increasing levels of nitrogen and phosphorous on anadromous alewives reintroduced into the St. Croix River. Since moving to New Hampshire, Betsy has enjoyed the large number of day hikes and small lakes to explore in the area. Her favorite winter activity is ice fishing, and she can be seen running after flags any chance she gets. She’d love to visit Norway again to explore its breathtaking beauty. At Gomez and Sullivan, Betsy enjoys the variety of fulfilling projects, tasks, and challenges she works on with a dynamic team of people.
