Dave moved to Buffalo in 1984 after living in Baltimore, Boston and Cincinnati. He studied geology, geochemistry and hydrogeology and his passion for a professional career related to natural resources blended well with the surface water and groundwater resources of the Buffalo area. He finds it especially rewarding to have managed some very meaningful projects that directly benefit his community. These legacy projects, including large-scale habitat restoration projects and regional groundwater studies as well as recreation enhancements on the Niagara River and in the Niagara Gorge, bring a sense of accomplishment and pride to Dave. An avid fan of the multitude of year-round activities the area provides, Dave enjoys fly-fishing, hiking and bike riding. He also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
